ii MotionPlus
Main article: Wii MotionPlus
Wii MotionPlus attached and detached‎

The Wii MotionPlus is an expansion device that allows the Wii Remote to more accurately capture complex motion. Incorporated with a custom version of the Wii Remote Jacket,[74][75] the Wii MotionPlus affixes directly to the Wii Remote expansion port, extending the length of the controller body by approximately 1½ inches (4 cm).[76] The Wii MotionPlus uses an angular rate sensor,[77] which supplements the accelerometer and Sensor Bar capabilities of the Wii Remote, enabling controller motions to be rendered identically on the screen in real time, according to Nintendo.[78]

Announced by Nintendo in July 2008,[78] the Wii MotionPlus is scheduled for release in June 2009.[74][75][79] In addition to a release as a standalone device, a Wii MotionPlus will also be included in bundles with various software titles, including Wii Sports Resort,[74][75][79] Tiger Woods PGA Tour 10, and Grand Slam Tennis.[80] Other games currently planned to feature Wii MotionPlus functionality include Red Steel 2,[81] Virtua Tennis 2009,[82] and Food Network: Cook or Be Cooked.[83]

but in the same sense its still unreleased.

Can't wait. What Nintendo needs to do is have this tech built into the wiimote. This needs to be done by the time the next Wii is released.

When did "I didn't feel like searching" become a justifiable excuse for not searching?

This is really old. Too bad it might not be used for the new zelda wii. Anyway, how would the nunchuck work or is it going to be wireless now?
