No External Links?

Ok so I posted today and saw this on my Sig "No External Links" ok and if everyone could not use External links it would be fine with me but CameronBanga and i0n (the Adm of the forums) both have links on there Signatures so why cant I have one link on my Sig?

a link to another part of the Wiichat forums are OK (like another thread for example) but a link to an outside site isnt allowed. also i0n is the boss so he can have a myspace link lol.
