I was considering buying this, but two things are preventing me.
1. The gore. Although it does look laughably fake, my parents wouldn't want me playing something like that. They don't even like me playing Pikmin because Pikmin drag the corpse of bulborb's into their nest. To anyone who has this game, is there a way to turn off the blood?
2. The length. If blood can be turned off, my parents will be satisfied. However, from reviews I've read it's a little short. To whoever has bought this, can you tell me about how long you've been playing and how many assassinations you've completed?

I just got it today and just paid for my fight against the number 9 assassin and am about 75 minutes into it. Seems like its going to be short. I don't know why you would want to turn off the blood. It makes the style so unique and crazy.

It's not that I WANT to turn off the blood, it' s just that my parents probably wouldn't like me playing it if it couldn't be turned off. Can it, or haven't you looked?

The Gamespot review says it lasts about 12 hours; it's even shorter if you just do what you have to to finish it. I wouldn't bother buying it when you could easily finish it in the rental period.
