After you've added each other's friend codes, what are you suppose to do to start playing online?

go to Brawl in the "With Friends" segment of wi-fi and then either make a room or click on one of your friends that are "waiting" and jthen oin their rooms by clicking "join" and you'll get it from there. If you make a room, though, you get 45 seconds for people online to get in it and at the end fight and after that fight you can fight with those same people the whole time until they disconnect, until they leave the room, in other words.
