Online Matches Count Toward Unlockables?

Does anyone know if online matches count toward your total vs matches?

No, I'm 99% sure they don't count towards for VS matches and such, however there is data of how many Online matches you've played with Anyone and Friends, I can see there maybe being some unlockables, maybe some trophies or CD's however not for characters or stages.

Apparently they don't, for example you can't play 400 vs matches online and challenge a character, as it doesn't count.
