Possible solution for streaming music and movies

Because the Wii Opera browser supports flash, we can use this as the medium to stream MP3 and Video files to the Wii.

Running your own HTTP server (apache or IIS), install a Flash Object into a HTML page, and use this flash object to play a video or a MP3 file.

I don't know much about flash objects (as you may be able to tell). But this could be a way to do it. A "flash media player" of sorts with file browser would be good.

Does anybody know of something like this??

Orb works great on the Wii

You can use Orb from http://www.orb.com. It's free software you install on your PC, and then you log in from http://mycast.orb.com on the wii, and it will stream all your music and videos into Flash!

i dont know about using that i look into it to...i know it worked great on google videos.............and yahoo music
