except mine only came with 897 mb of ram, so i'm pissed and its near frickin impossible to get this thing to go fast.

I think I'm going to trash the monitor and hook the mini to my TV to use as an AppleTV like thing.



I'm probably also going to buy a cheap laptop for Linux that I can take places where I would be worried about my Mac being damaged/stolen.

Why the **** are you asking that here?

If you want to play "backups" you have to get a modchip, but next time, please make your own thread rather than ruining other peoples' threads by filling them with completely irrelevant ****.

Thats exactly what I was planning on getting. But I decided to try a laptop...

I hooked my mini to my TV, so my desk is much cleaner. (the pic is really bad quality because my video camera doesn't take good stills)
