problems with my new WII setup

Hi,
I just bought today my new WII and I can't complete the setuo since the remote (both of them) are not marked on the TV so the screen dosn't response to any push of the remote buttums. I'm in the Language chosen screen and can't continue from here.
I did made synchronization between the remote and the WII.

What should I do ?

you should try unplugging ur wii and plugging it back in again. if not, are the batteries good?

Check you sensor bar. You may use a digital camera to see if there is any infrared signal from it.

i know it sounds stupid but have you got the sensor bar plugged in?

make sure there is nothing else in the way such as lights or maybe even a bluetooth device it could mess up the signal. I remember around christmas time I could point the wiimote at the xmas tree and it would work like i was pointing at the sensor bar. could be something like that

Thank you all...it's working now, the remote was too close to the TV so the cursor was not show...dumm me what a nurd
