strange pokemon white glitch

well... ,hello
i was plaiyng pokemon white , in my brother ds . i was in pinwhell forest , catching pkmns
then , i entered a battle against a sewaddle , but , the strange ,was that,there , were , no , fight , BUTTON!!
only chang pkmn , items and run , Yeah , i tried to touch the fight button location but nothing happened,
i thought : HS , but i had to escape...

and happened again in the elite 4 mountain, against a durant...

and i didnt found anything like that in the internet...

any thoughts?

Ive never seen a glitch like that in any game. It seems like just a weird glitch.
