Struggling to connect to Mario kart Ds Online.

Ok this might sound littel weird but im trying to get Mario kart DS to work Wifi.
I have recently bought a Wii console and i used my small share internet connection wifi plug in aerial and that connected and worked fine..

Now im trying to setup my DS on the same thing, it finds the adaptor and connects but it says unable to obtain IP address... check DHCP settings..

Can i get some sort of explanatn as to what i msupposed to do or if its even possible to work with the hardware i posses?

hey spirit, I had a problem too in the begining, I just called my wireless router group and they got me squared away. As for the dhcp settings, I think it has to do with the web code. Not sure tho. GL

eh..
Mines a Realtek internet share adaptor..
I checked the Nintendo Help and it was'nt in the list of adaptors.. /sigh

Wifi Adaptor Im Using To share My internet wirelessly is:

Realtek RTL8139/810x Family Fast Eth.

Any help appreciated, thanks.
