Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon: Future Soldier Announced For Wii-1.052010-02-10 06:38:12Maura SUbisoft has today announced that Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon: Future Soldier is currently in development, and will be coming out at the end of 2010 on all major consoles, including the Nintendo Wii. According to Ubisoft, the game will feature cutting-edge technology and prototype high-tech weaponry, as befits the “Future Soldier” name, one would guess, and will include single-player and multiplayer modes.

According to Shack News, Ubisoft CEO Yves Guillemot, on confirming that the Wii would be getting its own version of the game, said that it would be handled by a separate team to the other console versions* and would have a different approach, specifically tailored for the Wii audience. *This is what Ubisoft had to say about the game:

“Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon: Future Soldier will go beyond the core Ghost Recon franchise and deliver a fresh gameplay experience, with an unparalleled level of quality that will excite long-time fans and newcomers alike.”
