TV Screen Problem

Hi all,

Need help fr friends out there. It's about my TV screen that has this distortion.The TV screen looks like raining whenever I switch on the console and it persists even till I reach the Wii menu screen and while playing the games. It gets worse when the background is black.

I have an NTSC Wii ver. 3.0 system and connected to a 29" Samsung LCD via A/V cables. Tried switching to my 29" CTV but still the same problem. Any of you facing the same prob? Component cables are my final option as they cost quite a lot but then still not sure wether it will do the trick... :sigh:

It sounds like you might have bad cables, if the same thing happens on two different tvs.
Call Nintendo and get them to replace them.

I fiddled around with the cable yesterday and tried connecting it again. This time I didn't insert it fully and it works.
