Hello all,
I have bought a Wii console in the U.S. and we have used it in Turkey by plugging it to a 220-120 voltage converter.
The problem is, my kid, finding Wii unplugged from the converter, he used a plug adapter to plug the AC adapter to a 220 V outlet. Now Wii does not work, and I am hoping that only the AC adapter is fried. A voltmeter shows no voltage between the two holes of the adapter, but I am not even sure if that's the way to test the adapter output. According to this forum, a 220-V adapter should work for our Wii, but may this event have also ruined the console?
Best wishes for all,
Hurol Aslan
