I heard in the E3 wrap up part of the news section that Battle Mode of Mario Kart will be online, has actual racing been confirmed also?

The game will also feature online play, including, for the first time, online multiplayer battles. Fils-Aime also mentioned that we should be expecting more players in the online mode. How many? He tells us we’ll have to stay tuned to find out.

“This is not your Father’s Mario Kart, because now you’ll be racing against your rivals around the world in real time,” said Fils-Aime. Of the Wii Wheel, he said that the device will allow for “a new feel for racing, even if you started racing 15 years ago.”

hello all,

such hype for e3 this year but it's been downsized to a press conference.

the wii wheel looks awsome but it needs some pedals and it's pretty much definate that ssbb, mario galaxy and mp3 will be out in AUS in 2008 not 07

oh well, as long as they make those games perfect

Wii Fit pad stand thingy looks interesting I might get it, I might just get all the 'Wii...' software (ie Wii Sports, Wii Music etc.)

As for anything else I was hoping for some datees for down under, but as usual were gonna have to wait a few weeks before they tell us, kinda like an after thourhgt
