Wii in Australia thread

DID HE QUOTE SAM HARRIS?
ZOMG!
He must have been on page 102 or something...
WIIWARE! I KNOW! Is there a release date yet?

If anyone has a 360 that isn't Mr. Lost, my username is nkbswe17, not nkbswe5

One of my friends (well, sort of friend) got a UAI of 94. This is an awesome mark, I think we can all agree. Yet, my mother spoke to her mother and apparently her mother was disappointed! How do you get disappointed when your daughter gets 94? Eagles said he didn't do spectacular, but still! Its one thing for my friend to be off it, but her mother? Disappointment over 94? Aren't most parents meant to celebrate just if you pass an exam? Heck, even if you fail they are meant to say 'Well, you tried and thats all that matters.'

My friend wants to do medicine. For one uni she needed like 90, and for another she needed higher. Maybe she needed over 94 or something. But still, she still got into one of the universities she wanted. Or rather, chances are good that she'll get into it.

Anyway, one of my brothers friend got a 360 for xmas. My brother said yesterday to his friend 'Yeah, I'm coming over to play it tomorrow.' He spent the entire day there. He was so excited. He's 19. Not that age has anything to do with it, I guess. But I just thought maybe a 19 year old wouldn't be acting like a 13 year old over it.

Depends what he was playing. A 13 year old might enjoy Halo 3, but if they were playing Naruto or Psychonaughts...then its acceptable. Why, I'd even stay at my house all day to play them! Ohho! Crazy, crazy thoughts.

94 is a fantastic score, beats my 61 out of the something. Think of a clever word for me

I didn't bother asking what he was going over to play. It's not that spending all day playing video games bothers me - I did it when I first bought Zelda. Although its probably the only game that I've spent ALL DAY playing. Oh, and maybe, possibly, I spent all day playing Mortal Kombat... But anyway. It's just the way his friend called him up and he answered that he'd be around tomorrow to play.

I haven't really got any friends that play video games. One of them plays the Sims 2 (and often insults my computer - I tell her it COULD handle Sims 2, I just don't want to give it the workout... Although, chances are it probably couldn't handle it.), and another plays The PS2. But anyway, both of them don't exactly live very close to me - both are about half an hour away. It surprises me we actually went to the same High School. But anyway, I've never asked (or been asked) to come around and play video games. Oh wait, once I said to the Sims 2 friend 'I am totally coming around to see the Sims 2.' and she said something like 'Oh, i dunno about that... like... Umm... maybe in the second half of the holidays.' I actually wasn't serious about coming around to see the Sims 2 - it didn't mean that much to me at all. It's like, Relax, I'm not planning on rocking up to your house. But I have such great friends!

Anyway, the point of that story is I don't go around to play video games - not for the sole purpose anyway. Once a few people were around and we played Nintendo just for something to do. Somehow my brothers statement just amused me. But it shouldn't have - he loves his games. He constantly plays things like World of Warcraft, and Runescape.

OK, lets all come to my house and play video games.
Now if you will excuse me, Amazing Race is on.
NINTENDO! WHY ARE YOUR 64 GAMES SO EXPENSIVE! I can't afford Pokemon Snap :(

Hmm... I might go and watch Alien VS Predator. Again.

OH! I forgot to tell everyone what happened. Its probably more of a story for msn, but too many people would be totally interested in it, so I'll share it here. Because I know everyone loves my amazing stories.

Anyway, my brother got Alien, Predator and Alien VS Predator for Xmas. So, Xmas day I watched them. Yes, I came home from a nice day with family to watch those movies. Nothing wrong with that. I watched Predator first, and then put on Alien VS Predator. By that time it was around 9:30pm -10pm. I was the only one home, and I still had two doors unlocked, and all the windows in the house open. So, I got into the first 10 mins of AVP, and suddenly the DVD turned itself off! Like, I wasn't laying on the remotes or anything, it just switched off! And the channel moved from the DVD channel to the TV channel.

So, I got up from my mattress in front of the TV, and looked around for the remote (thinking that I'd touched it) it was on the table directly behind me. And obviously not touched. I was watching Alien VS Predator, it was late(ish), dark and I was HOME ALONE. I had doors open... So, I kinda went around to the doors and locked them. And maybe I turned on a few lights while I was at it. Although strangely I left the windows open. I locked one of the doors, and right next to it a wide open window - just with a fly screen to keep out Predator. Somehow though, I was satisfied with this. My brain thought 'Good, Predator's totally not going to get through that door. Its locked now. As if he could perch in a tree outside and kill me from there.'

Not that I needed to worry though, the verandah door that I locked, also had a shut gate on it. Predator wouldn't have been able to jump that small gate either (the gate in question was designed to keep my small dog on the verandah). It would have been like in the Simpsons movie, where they erected the barrier over the pond, and they got the inbred guy to try and dump something... Predator would have hit the gate and said he couldn't get through and gone instead after my neighbours.

Anyway, a question now. You know when Predator takes of his mask, and he has that... face. And he likes to roar, and the teeth, spikey things stick out? Could he do that with his mask on?

So, basically I got scared of Predator. Why? I have no idea. He's not scary. And the movie certainly wasn't. But I got scared of Predator. Not Alien though. Alien sucks.

A vs P was the worst movie I ever saw ever. The audience laughed for 1/2 of the movie. It was a pile of smoking poo for so many reasons....

LOL! Aw...Poor eki...Predator is friendly at the end of AVP though...all he does is some weird **** with acid and then his off...

Me and about 6 of my friends had a games night at a friends grandparents mansiona dn everyone bought their consoles and games and stuff and it was awesome...from 6pm-10am we did nothing but play games...****ing FIFA street, they just kept on playing that all the ****ing time...and they were still suprised at scoring a goal...they were so ****ing loud...you'd be around the corner setting up a put on wii golf...and then *AWWWWWWOOOHHHHHHHHHYAAAAAAAAHY* They did that every 5 min or so....

Anyways, I talked to my dad about getting a 360 WITH MY OWN MONEY and he says...just enjoy your wii...fair enough...but I still wanna play naruto...I played that at supanova....AWESOME!

I have pokemon snap hahahaha!
