Wii in Australia thread

Woah 100 hours Super Smash Bros, I've only played for around 30 I think  ... And deity I can't remember what my Gold team was but I'm sure it could beat your crystal team ;) lol.

Well I got Pokemon and the headsset I'm playing it right now so first impression looks the same as all the pokemons and the headset is great it fits well and was pretty cheap...now where's my DS skin

i really need a ds.

it's nudging it's way onto my to-do list after all the other crap i need money for. *sigh*

This threads gone a bit quiet (much like the Wifi night thread) anyhoo pretty random question but cannon I remeber you saying you got something for your DS that let you play movies, homebrew games etc. What was it called, how much and where from??

Ok. So I'm coming home for a few weeks on Sunday and I'm brining my wii back with me. This sounds like a ridiculous question, but am I going to have any problems hooking up my internet connection on it if I decide to buy new VC games?

And I'm sure if I buy games in Aus I can play them on the console I have here yeah? Thanks guys (advice, help, etc).

The only advice I can give you is to call Nintendo Europe/Australia. I'll catch up later school is canceled so im lying in bed and it is a rainy day im loving it!

to sir SUPANOVA!
DS is region free.

I saw Eledees today, but its to expensive. Im saving for the DS peripheral that plays movies and homebrew games...they were sold out today...

I bought Eledees today!!!!!!! weeeeeeeeeeee or should i say wiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiii
Sooooo much fun!!!! :D There are some strange things about it though
1. The Case is the European one with an Australian ratings sticker stuck over it, maybe this is why there was so much trouble in finding the darn thing!
2. The booklet is also the European one.

My bet is that it is the complete European version with an Aussie ratings sticker stuck on over the top! Meaning that whoever or the last page was wanting to find out if the European Wii would work in Aus, I'd say yes, cause this apparent European game is working just fine on my Aussie Wii!!

Now, I'm off to dl donkey kong country two, this has been a great day!!! yay

Hurrah! Now I have someone to send my custom made levels to when I get the game! The european thing is what they did with Trauma Centre on DS too.

 I won't be getting it for a while I've gotta get that DS movie, hombrew thingy (cannon what is it called, how much and where from?) so until I know that I won't be getting no Electricity men...things

Aren't all the aussie games printed in Europe then sent here??

Yes, but that didn't need a double post. TSK TSK!

But for your modchip DS thing, I'm getting mine from Cavern Imports as they have a warranty and they update your DS and STUFF, but I dont know where you are in Australia... check this site instead... oh wait I cant post it here, get ready for a Super PM!

Nope, every one I have seen has been printed in Aus with Nintendo of Australia info on the back and in the booklet, here's some pics I took of Eledees:

Here's one of the sticker that has been placed over the European rating to make it into Aussie rating, you can clearly see the other rating behind it!!

The UK info on the back of the box, which usually has Nintendo of Australia info there.

And finally, the European ratings in the booklet!

All my other games (Zelda, Red Steel, Wii Play and Sports) aren't like this at all.

I thourght the disk were printed in Europe before being sent over...can't remeber where I heard that though

Thats pretty cool, I guess there must have been a big demand on Eledees to be importing them! GO WII!
Diety! You Dare you post before me!?
