I also had a nice Christmas lunch with the small amount of family I have in Perth. 
I got Super Paper Mario and Zelda: PH as expected as my gaming related presents. I am really liking them both. SPM's story is very well writted and very enjoyable to read! Zelda's touch control also works very well.

OMFG i am sooo angry i new this was going on but IT has to STOP NOW ... the fact that we have to wait for games never bothered me until i got online ... computer games get released within short periods of each other but I'm finding wii games world wide are getting realized months ahead of Australia ... i know most of this is blabber but it has to stop a petition needs to be made people need to put it in shops!!!

Um....Ok....Hello to you toomstone...and welcome to Wii in Australia...We get games later because of region locking we're on PAL and they're on NTSC...I don't know how it could possibly take that long to convert...but...I'm guessing that it's also Wii in MELBOURNE's! Fault too as they're too lazy to get off their fat asses and get the games....Not entirely true obviously...and settle down, it ain't the end of the world. We're in the now generation if something takes longer than a day people won't like it....?
As for the Guitar Hero thread, do you guys mind if I put it up!? because it has you FCs in there and I just wanna make sure that you're all cool with it before I start posting....and creating....well, I have it all ready, just a matter of clicking...'Submit new thread' then I'll post the link up here.

One of the reasons it takes so long, is as gpoleweski said, we have PAL and the regions that get it sooner have NTSC, the actual conversion of that takes hardly any time. The reason we have to wait is because we get Europes version of the game, as Australia is not big enough to have it's own production team ect to convet from NTSC to PAL. Europe has a lot of countries with a lot of different languages, hence why it takes so long, they have to translate the game into many many languages, which in AUS we dont need, but get anyway. Hence our delay times.

But it doesn't take months to translate to the various languages. Development teams are just slack.
