Wii usb ports

HI,I am new and not very tech savy. I just got my 1st hdtv and am trying to connect my daughters Wii. I have a usb port on the tv and wht looks like two usb ports on my Wii but can't find out about them. I put a question on the hardware forum and it disappeared. Sorry, dont know what I'm doing.

The USB ports on the Wii are nothing to do with displaying things on the TV.
Your Wii should of come with a cable to plug into the TV

The ones on the Wii are used mostly for things like Wiimote chargers
