Will wii bought in US work in India

Are there any other limitations except the power supply that will prevent Wii from working in India ?

The Wii will work, but you will have to import games from the US because games bought in India will not work on an American Wii. Region locked im afraid.

the display will not work on indian TVs

North America uses NTSC format
India uses PAL format

edit:
you can buy a new power adapter, video converters, and mod chips, but then you could be close to the price of a new wii made for india...
