I am hoping that there will surely be some sort of way to keep track of your achievements online. I doubt it will be as good as the Xbox online service, as mentioned above, but any way to keep track of your online progress is a good way I suppose.

I doubt they would implement a achievement style thing as you can tell they aren't big on doing what everyone else is doing
