I just got a xbox 360 wireless adapter, if i search access point on my wii will it detect the xbox 360 adapter's signal??

Why don't you try and see if it does? Oh and even if it does pick it up it wont mess anything up seeing as I have both my xbox 360 and nintendo wii hooked up
wirelessly through my xbox live connection.
