Activision Reveals Spider-Man and X-Men Voice Talent Details Ahead of Comic-Con

To celebrate the upcoming kick-off of Comic-Con in San Diego this weekend in style, Activision and Marvel have announced the celebrity actors that will be voicing characters in the upcoming console (including Wii) games, Spider-Man: Edge of Time and X-Men Destiny. Both games will also be playable at the Activision booth (#5445). [/FONT]

[FONT=&amp]For Spider-Man: Edge of Time, it has been announced that Val Kilmer will play Walker Sloan, Smallville and V star Laura Vandervoort will play Mary Jane, and Battlestar Galactica’s Katee Sackhoff will play Black Cat. [/FONT]

[FONT=&amp]In X-Men Destiny, Heroes’ and Gilmore Girls’ Milo Ventimiglia, the Hangover Part II’s Jamie Chung and Friday Night Lights’ Scott Porter will play three all-new mutant characters – Grant Alexander, Aimi Yoshida and Adrian Luca respectively. [/FONT]

“These amazing casts of talented Hollywood actors help bring the rich storylines of Spider-Man: Edge of Time and X-Men Destiny to life,” said Vicharin Vadakan, Director of Marketing, Activision Publishing. “Players this fall will get to control the destiny of their own mutants or save Spider-Man and through this voice talent feel like they are part of the action.”
[FONT=&amp]Stars from both games will also be appearing at the Activision Marvel Video Games Panel, along with Stan Lee, Marvel writer Peter David and Beenox Studio Head Dee Brown, among others, to discuss the latest Super Hero adventures and their roles in the upcoming video games. The panel will take place on Saturday July 23 at Comic-Con in San Diego, at 10:00 am in room 5AB. [/FONT]
