BIT.TRIP FATE, the penultimate chapter in Gaijin Games’ ever-popular six-part BIT.TRIP series, is available to download now on WiiWare in Europe. This latest instalment is an on-rails side-scrolling shooter which features the star of the series, CommanderVideo, riding the vibe to find out his fate, and enlisting his friends from BIT.TRIP RUNNER to help him thwart the Mingrawn Timbletot, who has mutated the world in to a technological nightmare.
In the game players get to join forces with Junior Melchkin, CommandgirlVideo and others to increase CommanderVideo’s power and save the world. Use the Nunchuk to control CommanderVideo and the Wii Remote to fire anywhere on screen, and collect power-ups to call for help from CommanderVideo’s friends for powerful shop upgrades.
As with all the games in the series, the music is extra special, and BIT.TRIP FATE is no exception, with a chiptune-inspired dubstep soundtrack to accompany your blasting, and special guest appearances from fellow video game stars Super Meat Boy and Mr. Robotube and chipmusic artist Minusbaby.
