Sega has today unveiled yet more classic characters who will be appearing in ASR, namely Mobo and Robo – the Bonanza Bros. (appearing in a new game for the first time in 20 years!), and Jacky and Akira from Virtua Fighter. You can check them out here and below in all their glory! Sega has also released 19 new Wii screenshots, including three new tracks: Final Fortress, Jet Set Radio Future 99th Street and Samba De Amigo.

Meanwhile, the Sega blog has confirmed that despite not being a playable character in ASR, NiGHTS will be appearing in the important role of flagman, meaning that he starts and finishes all the races and celebrates with you whenever you set a new record in Time Trial mode. Other recent character announcements include Crazy Taxi’s BD Joe and the lovely Ulala from Space Channel 5, both of whom you can see in the latest trailer.
