Calling, Hudson Entertainment’s forthcoming suspense-horror game for the Wii has gone gold and now has a release date of March 9th, 2010. Hudson has also released four new screenshots today so you can find out what you’ll be letting yourself in for when March rolls around. In the game, players must discover the secret behind the Black Page website, where strange beings inhabit the realm between life and death.
The gameplay revolves around the fight for survival of four characters who are stuck in an area called the Mnemonic Abyss. Players get to experience the storyline from the differing perspectives of each of the four characters, using various equipment, including torches and phones among other things. As you make your way through the Mnemonic Abyss and attempt to solve puzzles using items that you’ve found, you’ll uncover memories of houses, schools, hospitals and other places. By the looks of things the game is much more about suspense and mystery than big scares, but we’ll have to wait until it comes out to see if it keeps you on the edge of your seat or sends you off for a snooze on the sofa.
