Does Nintendo ban modded consoles?

i want to know if i connected to the internet, does nintendo ban me ?or my wii will be bricked?

Nintendo can't brick wiis, that's IMPOSSIBLE. If they did, they'd be violating their own contract. The only ways to brick wiis are messing with the Ios, the region or installing a f-ed up Wad, so don't worry plus, I've installed chips like wiikey and wiikey+ and nothing has ever happened. Oh, and if anything happens, google "Bootmii", you'll see what I'm talking about
