It doesn't matter either way, there's cut versions floating around over torrent networks(minus the drivel and other pointless bullshit irelevant to the plot).

Although I do love DBZ, I'd stick my guns to Dragonball anyday; stronger story, less ki blasts, and more funny scenarious and schticks than you can wave your dick at.
