Yes thats right, As nintendo's dominance in Japan continues so does the amount of sales of their products. Yes the nintendo handheld console the 'DS lite' has sold 10 million. It was announced with 702,844 DS Lites sold for the month (and 2,211 regular DS units). The percent of soft and hard ware getting sold in japan has went up around 8%. To reach 10 million sales in around 61 weeks is great considering that this is the second version of the DS nintendo have released. This month in Japan around 73% of hardware sales were DS lites and wii's. The ps3 sold slightly more consoles then the ps2, where as in american the ps2 has been consintly out selling the PS3. Those are just a few points that show nintendo's dominance in Japan.
