Dsi worth the extra $?

So my DS lite has been broken for quite a while now and I really an thinking about getting a new DS. I was wondering if it's worth getting the DSi for the 40 bucks or so or not. I was hoping for original gameboy and color games on the dsi shop but for now I guess it doesn't have it. Any input appreciated.

I meant for 40$ more (129$ lite vs. 169$ dsi) sorry for not explaining well.

The new just seems like your paying much more for it having larger screens and being bigger. It's like 220$ in Japan now...doesn't really seem worth it.

Well there are games that are DS only (that need the cart slot) and there are a few DSi only things
Id say go for a DSi if your gonna use it on-line (and not be dodgy by playing copys)

my opinion dont get it 100 dolars or more you can buy some game on wii xbox360 ps3 ect and they will pwn the hell out of any ds.

i say just forget the dsi if you are just buying it for the internet browser. I say get the ipod touch or something, now that would be worth the money! $_$
