I'm a couple hours past you and still don't have the horse back, don't expect it for awhile

once you restore the light to eldion (or w/e his name is) you go to the gorons however you cant sumo past the first goron and just keep getting knocked down the cliff. dont even bother after you get knocked down once. just leave and you will get a cut scene where epona is being attacked and goes crazy. you gotta jump on her and stay on for a while untill it gives you the option to press A to calm her down. now you got your horse!
