Hey everyone! Could anyone please tell me where and how to download old NES games to play on my Wii. Also, what controllers are compatible with them (specifically the first 3 Mario games)?

In other words you can't download them you have to buy them from virtual console.

it tells you what control is needed when you're choosing to download the game not on the way there.

and for any VC game higher then NES you need at least a Classic or GC controller guaranteed.

Thanks guys! THough it seems like when I tried that before there was no way to enter a credit card or anything, like you needed Wii points or something.

You do need points but you can buy them with a credit card directly over the console from the shop channel. Or goto bestbuy and buy a points card 2000 for 20 dollars.

not just Best Buy but there's a lot of places to buy them. all the big stores(walmart, target, kmart) as well as just about every gaming store.
