E3 2007 Layout Revealed (pictures)

May 1, 2007 - IGN's proper E3 invitations have started to trickle in, and we now have the layout for the event. We knew it was moving from the LA Convention Center to Santa Monica, and now we have the exact location: The Barker Hangar at the Santa Monica Air Center.

Barker HangarA map of the event shows there will only be two sizes of booths -- 20x20 foot booths for the twelve biggest publishers, and smaller meeting rooms for everyone else. Electronic Arts' 20 square feet will be quite a bit smaller than its gigantic 360-degree video projection room at last year's E3.

The twelve publishers with larger booths are:
Microsoft
Nintendo
Sony
Electronic Arts
Capcom
Vivendi
Namco Bandai
THQ
Sony Online
SEGA
Konami
Square Enix

There are 96 more meeting rooms, but only 30 of them are currently reserved. The hangar itself is just that: a giant airplane hangar used for events and conventions.

Yeah, maybe its better for us because we'll learn more things about our games and you'll have a better experience playing them!
Besides, this downgrade of E3 dosnt effect most of us because most of us didnt even go to it in the first place!
I geuss the closest version of the old E3 will be TGS... so I woulnt be so sad!
