Etering Miis in contests question

Is there an easy way to find your Mii to vote for him/her? Or even in the Posting Plaza. It's like once they're put out there, they disappear into the ether.

Color me frustrated.

As far as I know you can't vote for your own Mii.
Other people do see your Mii's you enter, you can't though.
