I have two wii-motes that are recharged from the usb port and I would like to get two more. Can the usb ports be extended to hook up four usb connections. IE: can I use a usb hub from a computer and hook it into one of the usb ports on the wii and hook up 4 wii-motes ?

I would assume that theres such a thing as a usb port splitter, and I would assume that it would work with any usb port, including the wii's.
You can buy "usb hubs" just about anywhere, they work just like a splitter.

Just make sure you get one that can handle USB powered devices since you want to use it for charging.
