So here is the issue. My ethernet cable is too short. I can always buy new one. But instead if I want to use a usb extension cable I have laying around at home can I. Or would that void warentee. I know some devices like to be directly plugged in to a usb port and don't like to be extended or don't get any signal unless directly plugged in. Talking about the nintendo usb ehternet adapter. Is it safe to extend. Or should I just buy a new ethernet cable.
