Because not all You Tube videos use Flash 9. There will be some you can't watch because they are in Flash 9. An update will happen as soon as Opera gets the Flash 9 SDK's. You have Flash 7 as do all Wii's.

Its really not nintendo but opera itself who has to develope a flash that can work with the wii.. once opera can make a newer flash for the wii nintendo will adapt it and make us upgrade again, thats from my understanding..
