Music from any of the instsallments of the Metroid series is ALWAYS awesome. Really adds to the gameplay and makes you feel as if you are trapped on a planet alone.

I love anything to do with Final Fantasy. The music in those games are excellent. And Zelda also has great music.

There was this old game on Genesis called "The Ooze". It also came as an extra on the Sonic Mega Collection for ps2.
