Havok Agrees to License its Technology to Wii U Developers Worldwide

Leading games technology company Havok has today announced that it has entered into a worldwide license agreement with Nintendo, to make Havok Physics and Havok Animation available to studios around the world who are developing for Nintendo’s forthcoming Wii U console. This is very exciting news indeed for Nintendo fans, as Havok’s technologies have been used in over 500 of the best-known and award-winning games including the likes of Uncharted 3, Assassin’s Creed: Revelations, The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim, Uncharted: Golden Abyss, Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine and L.A. Noire. Havok’s products have also been used to drive special effects in such movies as Harry Potter and The Order of the Phoenix, Watchmen, and The Matrix. Such an agreement will help those developers around the world bring high-fidelity, immersive games to the Wii U. [/FONT]
