HELP! Internet Connection

I got a wii, and tried to set up the internet connection but it didn't work. The access point method didn't work. I DID GO to /support.nintendo.com/, tried the confusing manual method and no luck.:sad:

My router thingy is D-Link DSL-300G
I have a computer and internet connection in my house.(Obviously)

I tried checking through the stickied help threads,but am confused.
Please Help and thanks if you do!

Be more specific. Are you getting an error code? Is there any particular channel that won't connect? Did it pass the connection test? Can you even see the acess point?.......

Connection failed is what I get, I reach the access point page, but I pick one unlocked one and it doesn't work. By channel do you mean internet thing?

i have absolutely no idea about this connection i do have a wii could someone please talk me through this and what else do i need and obviously i have the internet at home

Call nintendo support with your Error Code ready. They'll walk you through what to do. Its a toll free number so you dont gotta worry about dropping some green on the call.

But answer the questions like; Which is my access point, how do I connect it to my computer?
I'd like to give it a shot and get questions answered before trying to call N.
