help with live

ok sorry for this but i was wondering if someone could help me:

ok, i have had my xbox live set up for a while ( well month exactly now my free trails ran out ). BUT...since i set up my wii interent again my xbox live doesnt want to seem to connect. The Ip adress is found but the DNS ( or something ) is not found, i might sound like a noob but what is a dns and how can i get around this problem, thanks.

could you be a bit more specific in how you have your current set-up?

are you using a router?

are you using ICS?

DNS? have a looky here:-
