Newbie here. So new I'm still waiting for my Wii to be delivered later today. I got a black Wii with Sports and Sports Resort.

I am an old coot (58) and would never be considered a serious gamer. I do have a Gamecube and thought I would give the Wii a try.

Any game suggestions? I plan on going to the local used media store today and would like some ideas. I will be looking for the first Mario Galaxy and Call of Duty.

Sure I'll be back to ask more questions.

mario cart wii, played it at my friends house. know i want it, it's really fun even online . going to git it in the summer when i start detasseling with many other games for my wii

Welcome to the forums! I'm sure you'll love the Wii. If you're looking for a Call of Duty, I'd recommend to skip Call of Duty 3 altogether and get Call of Duty: World At War or Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Reflex Edition for a better, smoother gameplay experience. You'll surely love Galaxy also.
