New to this sight. My son got a Wii for Christmas and we are just now trying to access the Weather and News channels. Bought a Linksys WRT54G v6 this weekend and have been frustrated trying to have the Wii consistently recognize it.

I'll be looking around for other posts with similar issues. Hopefully they can shed some light.

Hi, welcome to the forums. Linksys is a very bad router to use with the Wii. I would suggest the Netgear wireless MIMO.
