How do you get rid of that annoying pop up

Can someone tell me or maybe know a way to get rid of that annoying pop up on the pc that the wii wifi makes. "someone is conecting etc" with out having to deny permission or turning it off.

are you talking about the Wi-Fi USB Connector

yes, im not actually taling about about the wifi in the usb but the pop up i get on screen from the computer.

So why post and spam the board?

You might have to reconfigure your security settings or something, all I can think of besides just doing a re-setup of your connection on the Wii.

Good luck with that though, not sure if it's constricting gameplay, etc but if it is- bummer.

I emailed nintendo about that when i had one because it really pissed me off.
All they said was:

"The Wii will only connect periodically for updates to conserve power."

so i suppose you'll have to put up with it
