How long to wait for Wii friends?

I am trying to register my cell phone and email address to my wii address book. How long does it take for them to register with my wii?

I already replied to both messages sent to each device from the wii.

I added a wii friend and left my wii on for like 10 minutes and it registered.

it takes a lil while sometimes. it depends on both of ur locations. for example if ur friend was in a foreign country it'll take a lil' longer with the connection. you're not the only one i'm still waiting for some of my friends as well lol.....

most of the time takes me like 5-10 min
