i need help with wii news!!

i tried to update my wii to get the news (dont really need it, it just looks fun though :smilewinkgrin: ) the day it came out, when i hit update it started going but 1/3 of the way there is stop, i waited for about 20 mins, but it wouldnt move. so i have to turn off the wii and tried it again but same thing!! does anyone know why thats happening? or how fast thier update was? please help thanks!!!

Hey. I updated on Friday too, and it took about 25 mins (wireless). Not sure why yours froze up, twice. Sorry I can't help you with that, but update for me was about 25 mins. Good Luck.

It happened to me too. I unpluged my system for a little while. Then I plugged it back in and it worked. Once I did that it updated in under 2 minutes. Is that fast?

Should go as fast as any other update did, assuming your internet speed is decent and the bandwidth isn't being used.
