I'm loving this no-pokemon new posts search.

I was wondering how to figure out what the subsections were numbered. Pokemon is 36. Also, how would you put that in the url?

thanks...in, most likely, looooonnnnngggg advance.

What do you mean "numbered"? The URL for every subsection is just "www.wiichat.com/*subsection-name*/" With hyphens instead of spaces.

here is the newposts url for searching everything but the pokemon section.

http://www.wiichat.com/search.php?do=getnew&exclude=36

what I am asking is how to add other sections to the exlude list, and how to find the numbers that correspond to them
Oh, if VBulletin is like phpBB then the numbers are decided by the order in which sections were created. As a result, i0n will have to look and every section and make a list for you.

wtf is going on!!! someone explain this to me? howd you do that and what did i miss!

oh man that link is just what I was looking for. Pokemon is crap, to me anyways, and I'm scrolling through PAGES of it. so this really hits the spot. Next time it would be better to just ban all Poke topics. jk...not really

Wow..sah-weet.

Now, how do you change the url? I could experiment, but it'd be faster (well, maybe not) to ask you.

Ha ha, thanks. I tried everything BUT the comma. semicolons was the closest I got.

Edit: while I mentioned it in the rep comment, you probably don't read those :/

the thread's title is broad enough I think.

What's the head honcho's opinion on a veteran member section?

discussed here

Will understand if you want it kept under wraps. :shifty:
