Im a bit confused

I know this is a long way off and I am very content with my Wii but I was wondering when the newer consoles are coming out. I heard that it was 2010 and then I heard it was 2012. Is this not known? If it is could someone clear this up for me.

It's going to be around 2010 to 2012. The general industry rule for consoles is every 5 years.

it is not known of, i recently looked into some podcasts lately. They said it was way to early to say when and what they will be making. But usually it takes about 6 years, so maybe around 2012.

(Thought up of a name for the next wii, WiiII(the two capital I's representing the number "2", so it would be pronounced Wiiiiiii).
