Impossible puzzle

My friend showed me a puzzle and im pretty sure its impossible. Here it is.

There are 3 things, heat(H), water(W), and electricity(E).
There are also three houses, and the pipes/wires must get to each one w/o crossing paths. Draw a line for the pipe/wire.

Put a hole through paper, draw on other side....and come back out on another hole.

theres an actual flash game like this.. and it is possible (but only because of the floors in coding.

Yep, it's impossible. I've just seen mathematical proof this puzzle is impossible in 2D space (apart from a cheating way to send the wires through other people's houses):

I remember seeing a similar puzzle in Professor Layton and the Curious Village. I am not sure if it follows the same principle here, but I am sure that it is possible.

no this one is completly impossible, google this quiz, and you get multiple sites showing that it is completly impossible
