Well I read that it was supposed to be coming around in the spring, but recently i heard it may be coming out later this year. But no there is no confirmed date as of yet.

i have read that pokemon will be the first online multiplayer game (have also read a few others..)

so depending on the release date for this, it may have been late march, i cant remember properly

well in Japan the all ready have online play with Pokemon Battle revelution!!!!

March is the begining. Super Smash Brothers Brawl should be slated for June. Sometime in the future we should get a online games channel. This has all been confirmed by Nintendo. Reggie himself hinted SMK online. Which SMK is unknown.

What do you mean by an internet channel? There is already one, and why would you need online channel if the games already have online play? Also, I heard that march is when online play comes out.
