Why buy a used one? Anyway this belongs in the Hardware section of the forum. If you're looking for an affordable router (this one's wireless), then I suggest this one. http://www.bestbuy.com/site/olspage.jsp?skuId=5250774&st=linksys&type=product&id=1051384663529 It was 70 bucks (which is the price I had paid for it) and it's now 50 bucks. It's quite easy to install and the range on it is amazing.

thing is in aus cheapest i can get that router is $100Aud i was looking for something around half that maybe $65-$70aud (bout $40 US)

Buy a NETGEAR router, it costs like 40 USD Dollars and works perfectly with my wii.
